Israel and Kazakhstan ink memo of coop on water resources management

Kazakhstan Minister of Environment and Water Resources Mr. Nurlan Kapparov and CEO National Water Company of Israel "Mekorot" Shimon Ben Hamo have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of water resources management, inform.kz reports.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, the document was signed on Thursday, July 10 in the city of Aktau. 

The document confirms the interest of the parties in the development, management and implementation of advanced water projects in Kazakhstan. "Mekorot" company will provide consulting, organizational and technological support. 
The parties intend to create a center for training of Kazakhstan specialists in the field of water management and know-how. The Israeli company will provide consulting support to create Kazakhstan's national water company. 

"Mekorot National Water Company Ltd" is a public company. It has extensive experience, know-how and technological capabilities in the field of water resources management, including the implementation of projects on filtration and desalination of seawater and brackish water.
