Kazakhstan increased the volume of exports of crude oil and gas condensate to Italy up to 8.84 million tons in January-May 2014, which is 21.5% more than in the same period in 2013, said in the data published Wednesday by the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, akipress.org reports.
The data on Kazakhstan's exports of oil and gas to the foreign states, excluding the countries of the Customs Union, showed a 7.5-percent increase in oil and gas exports up to 31.35 million tons.
The largest buyers of Kazakh oil during the reporting period were:
Italy - 8.84 million tons (+21.5%) for $7.27 billion (+17.6%);
China - 3.82 million tons (-13%) for $3.03 billion (-15.9%);
The Netherlands - 3.65 million tons (-25.6%) for $2.99 billion (-26.9%);
France – 3.09 million tons (+12.9%) for $2.63 billion (+10.6%);
Switzerland - 2.24 million tons (+24.2%) for $1.73 billion (+17.7%);
Austria - 2.17 million tons (+0.7%) for $1.64 billion (-2.4%);
Romania - 1.69 million tons (+59.9%) for $1.31 billion (+53.8%).
