The Government of Kazakhstan plans to fly over 300 tourists who got stuck in Turkey after summer holidays back home, inform.kz reports.
According to the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications, hundreds of clients of Kazakhstan-based tour operator - Gulnar Tour have been stranded at Turkish airports since late June over a row between their tour operator and Jet Airlines flight carrier.
In connection with the situation, a special meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Asset Issekeshev was held on Wednesday. It was decided that the Kazakh air carriers will provide several air vehicles to arrange a smooth transfer of our compatriots trapped in the terminals of Turkish airports back to Kazakhstan.
