rt.com. “Revealed: How governments can take control of smartphones” - ‘Legal malware’ produced by the Italian firm Hacking Team can take total control of your mobile phone. That’s according to Russian security firm Kaspersky Lab and University of Toronto’s Citizen Lab(which also obtained a user manual).

“Russian senate repeals law allowing deployment of military in Ukraine” - Russia’s Federation Council has voted to repeal the legislation which allows the use of Russian armed forces on the territory of Ukraine if there is a threat to the local Russian population. The decision follows request of President Vladimir Putin.

“Kazakhstan's first crematorium to be built in Almaty” - First crematorium in Kazakhstan will be built in Almaty, according to Kazakhstani Channel 7. The need for crematorium occurred due to lack of land in the city's cemeteries, Kazakhstan Today reports.

“Kazakhstan plans to increase local content in Kashagan project” - Kazakhstan plans to increase the share of domestic participation with operators of the Kashagan and Karachaganak development projects according to the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
