President of Kazakhstan arrives in China for state visit

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has arrived in China for a state visit today, azh.kz reports citimg the Akorda press service.

During the two-day visit, the Kazakh leader is set to meet with his Chinese counterpart - President Xi Jinping in Shanghai. President Nazarbayev is also expected to a hold a number of meetings with heads of Chinese companies.

The program of the state visit includes participation in the IV Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Cooperation in Central Asia (CICA) on May 20-21 with a special focus on strengthening stability and regional security.
