Kazakhstan FM announced its view concerning referendum in Crimea

Kazakh Foreign Affiars MinistryTaking into consideration the referendum in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the 16th of March, 2014 Kazakhstan lays emphasis its involvement to the fundamental principles of international law stated in the UN Charter, bnews.kz reports with the reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

"The recent referendum in Crimea Kazakhstan received as the free will of the population of this Autonomous Republic and treats the resolutions taken by the Russian Federation under current conditions with great understanding.

We stand for the peace settlement of the Ukraine crisis and overcoming of the current situation via negotiations under the auspices of the UN and other authoritative international organizations," announced text read.
