By the decree of the Minister of Internal Affairs colonel Zhanibek Sharipov has been appointed the Head of Administrative Police department (a subdivision of Internal Affairs department established within the framework of “Universal Police” project).
Previously Sharipov also headed the Administrative Police Department (APD) that overlooked public security. APD included police patrol and checkpoint service, youth liaison service, district police officer service and escort duty. As the result of current re-organization the APD was combined with the Road Police Department.
According to the information provided by human resource service of Internal Affairs Department, road police department ex-head Mukhambetzhan Ospanov has been appointed as Sharipov’s deputy and will be responsible for public order and road police work.
Sharipov has two more deputies: lieutenant colonel Murat Demegenov and lieutenant colonel Myrzaly Utegaliev.
