KMG Chairman of Board of Directors Elected

Sauat Mynbayev, the RoK Minister of Oil and Gas was elected the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KazMunayGas, Samruk-Kazyna Fund minutes of the meeting read. The extract from the document is published on KASE website, writes Kapital.kz.

The authorities of Umirzak SHUKEEV, KMG Chairman of the Board of Directors have been terminated halfway. Besides, Nurlan RAKHMETOV was elected the board member as the representative of the interests of the Sole shareholder, on the provision that Samruk-Kazyna board of directors agree to the decision.

In August 2007, Mynbayev was appointed the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources by the President’s decree. On March 12, 2010 he was relieved from this position and appointed the RoK Minister of Oil and Gas.
