Embamunaygas CEO changes

Media service of Exploration and Production KazMunayGas JSC said Zhumabek Zhamauov was relieved from the post of EmbaMunayGas CEO after his job contract with the company expired. 

Makhambet Dosmukhambetov, 53, has been included into the EmbaMunayGas board of directors so to be elected the next CEO afterwards, the press release reads.

Mr Dosmukhambetov was born in Atyrau Oblast, then Guriev Oblast, and graduated from the Moscow Institute of Petrochemistry and Gas Industry.

In various years, he worked as chief geologist with oil and gas production departments of MakatMunayGas and DossorMunayGas.

By the time of appointment to EmbaMunayGas board he has been first deputy general director at MangystauMunayGas JSC.
