China is not interfering with home affairs of Central Asian countries and does not seek influence in the region, China’s President Xi Jinping said in a lecture, which he delivered on Saturday at the Nazarbayev University.
“We are far from interfering with home affairs of Central Asian countries. We should respect each other fully,” he said adding China followed a peaceful way of development and had an independent foreign policy.
“We should support each other, should be sincere, trustful friends,” he said addressing to Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev, who attended the lecture.
