Kazakh Supreme Court to review Chelakh verdict

Judicial division for criminal cases of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan will start preliminary consideration of the lawyer Serik Sarsenov's request to review the effective court orders against Vladislav Chelakh, the press service of the authority informs.

As reported earlier, Chelakh was found guilty according to seven articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He has been sentenced to life-term imprisonment.

This criminal case was reviewed by court of appeal and cassation authority, but the decision remained unaffected.
