Photo:i-news.On May 13-17 police conducted an operative-preventive action “Illegal Worker” in Atyrau Oblast.
According to Gulnazira Mukhtarova, the Head of Atyrau Oblast police press service, about 900 policemen were involved in the operation.
In the first three days officers identified 540 cases of violation of registration rules and 34 cases of illegal working and 10 foreign people were deported from Kazakhstan.
Over 500 foreigners were brought to administrative responsibility for violation of Kazakhstan's migration policy.
“During the operation we checked more than 1500 facilities and possible illegal workers’ locations in our oblast,” said Ms Mukhtarova.
“Those were mainly construction sites and dachas. We brought to administrative account over 500 illegal workers for violation of migration policy. Most of the migrants are from CIS countries and two persons from far overseas."
Besides, migration police jointly with criminal police managed to catch a 23-year old criminal who had been wanted as per Article 175 of RoK Criminal Code (“Theft”).
