Floral Tribute in Victory Park (Photos)

“Year after year the number of our war veterans coming to pay floral tribute to Victory Park grows smaller and smaller,”- said someone sadly in the crowd.  I also noticed that this year the number of war veterans considerably decreased compared to the previous one. Some of them died, some just physically cannot walk to lay flowers at Eternal Flame…

The participants of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) wearing all orders and medals and supported by their children and grandchildren came to the Atyrau Victory Park on May 9 and walked through the “live corridor” to lay the flowers at Eternal Flame.
