According to Kazakh Statistics Agency, the number of companies with Russian participation has grown 80% to be over 9,000.
In 2010, the country had only 3,500 registered firms, either totally or partially owned by Russian citizens, writes Kommersant.
Other countries found themselves far behind - Turkish businessmen have 3,900 entities registered in Kazakhstan, of which 1,600 are operating now.
Chinese are third with 2,800 companies. Only 500 are active at the moment.
