Ex-banker Mukhtar Ablyazov may be returned to Kazakhstan

The ex-banker Mukhtar Ablyazov may be returned to Kazakhstan. In the nearest future Kazakhstan and France are planning to sign a bilateral agreement about extradition, azh.kz reports.

Representatives of the principal supervisory authority intend to conclude with French three agreements in one go. They will allow both countries to protect the citizens during court trials, to transfer the condemned and suspected of crimes. If negotiations are completed successfully, Ablyazov may become one of the first extradited prisoners.
