Disneyland might appear in Almaty

Almaty authorities are considering construction of Disneyland, Head of Medeu district Sultanbek Makezhanov told a meeting with the citizens, "Karavan" report.

Makezhanov shared the district's plans for 2016.

He said it is planned to begin construction of the wide roads Koktobe-2 and Koktobe-3, as well as the sports tourist complex on the mountain territory in Kolsay.

He added that the possibility for the construction of Disneyland in Almaty is being considered. Presumably, the theme park will be built to the east of the Almaty ice arena.
