NCOC statement over the incident in Kashagan

With regret, North Caspian Operating Company B.V. confirms the fact of conflict between the workers of two contractor companies that took place during tea break at D island on September 27, 2012. From 30 to 40 Kazakhstani and foreign employees of contractor organizations participated in the incident. 

As the result, some foreign employees received first medical aid. One foreign employee with light head injury has been taken to Atyrau for medical care.

In accordance with the company procedures, a special group to investigate into the case has been formed.

The situation has normalized and under control.
