Police searched bomb in backpack

April 17, for about an hour, bomb technicians searched for an explosive device in a school backpack found near a beauty salon in the city of Uralsk, writes Uralskaya Nedelya.

Salon's employees spotted a school backpack that someone had left under their windows.

Upon a telephone call, to the place arrived police, rescue team and Arlan special unit of bomb technicians.

For an hour the neighborhood was cordoned off. Road police redirected all the traffic to parrallel streets. 

To no effect - nothing was discovered in the finding and the salon's basement air-hole.
