Tengizchevroil to mark 20th anniversary

The visit of Mr Davis relates to the forthcoming celebration of the 20th anniversary of Tengizchevroil LLP, a joint venture between Chevron - 50%, Kazmunaygas - 20%, Exxon Mobil - 25% and Lucarco - 5%.

Davis said festivities in the honor of the event will start in Astana and continue in Atyrau on April 5, and the district of Zhylyoi and Tengiz itself on April 6.

To recall, the agreement to create TCO JV was signed by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Chevron Chairman of the Board, Kenneth Derr, on April 6, 1993.
