Ambassador Krol: USA never initiated color revolutions

Photo: ruxpert.ruThe USA accept democratic phenomena as normal, but never acted as initiators of color revolutions, said George Krol, the USA Ambassador to Kazakhstan, azh.kz reports referring to kaztag.

"I don't agree with this (the opinion that the USA stands behind color revolutions - kaztag) in general. Of course, I heard many of such opinions, but as for color revolutions, they are actually a domestic policy of those countries where those events took place, I would say. I, as the person who was engaged and is still engaged in affairs of the USA in the former Soviet Union countries, I can say that USA doesn’t have a plan of occupying the world. This is, to put it mildly, nonsense", - said G. Krol at the meeting with the members of mass media on Thursday.

"But I understand why people think: "that it is the USA". Because the USA always loudly speak about democracy and we perceive  democratic phenomena as normal, but we didn't initiate all these events. These events have their own political background - I would say", - added the Ambassador.

According to him, all talks about creation of the American empire and its world hegemony are is hearsays.

"As for some sort of plot that the USA will conquer the world and (will create - kaztag) a certain American empire is simply not true", - summarized G. Krol.
