Asian Para Games: Kazakhstan wins 24 medals ranking 11th

Today is the closing day of the Asian Para Games held in Incheon, South Korea. Kazakhstan team is ranked the 11th in overall medal tally. In total, the Kazakh Paralymic sportmen won 24 medals, azh.kz reports referring to blog.incheon2014apg.org.

The medals include 7 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze.

The Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games kicked off at Munhak Stadium on Oct. 18.

Kazakhstan is represented by 84 athletes in nine sports: archery, athletics, judo, powerlifting, shooting, swimming, table tennis, sitting volleyball and wheelchair dance.

The 2014 Asian Para Games closed on Oct. 24. Athletes from 41 countries competed in 23 sports.
