China, Belarus and Kazakhstan will install GLONASS stations

The GLONASS land stations by the end of this year are scheduled to be installed in China, Belarus and Kazakhstan, said Grigori Stupak, Deputy Director General of “Russian Space Systems” company, azh.kz refers to glonass.ru website.

“Currently we are holing negotiations rather successfully. We are planning to finish reconnaissance activates this year and commence the installation of  three stations on the territory of China. Similar stations will appear in Belarus and two in Kazakhstan”, - noted Stupak.

Earlier mass media reported that three stations of the Chinese Beidou navigation system could be installed on the territory of Russia and similar three GLONASS stations could be installed in China.
